Our Aims:

 

© To provide opportunities for Black and Minority Ethnic, disabled people, and other socially disadvantaged groups to become actively involved in performing arts and media.

 

© Providing Youth lead projects, where 11-25 year olds, are involved in the planning, development and running of the project, under the advisement and guidance of a production team. 

 

© Produce performing arts and media events that raise levels of awareness to the history, culture and abilities of all people and highlight the contributions that all races, religions and cultures have made to modern Britain. 

 

 

 

Our Work:

 

NINE RED Presents…(CIC)   Works inclusively with Black/Minority Ethnic, Disabled & Socially Disadvantaged groups, locally, nationally and  internationally in pursuance of the following:-  

 

§ Increasing confidence as well as social and interpersonal skills in BME, Disabled and socially disadvantaged participants, making them more   marketable in the workplace. 

 

§ Provide a platform for targeted individuals to develop their skills and   creative potential.  

 

§ Provide Value and Diversity Training. 

 

§ Provide a platform whereby various ethnic groups can engage with each other and each other's culture. 

 

§ Raise understanding of disability and the worth and value of the individual with the disability.

 

§ Provide opportunities for individuals to engage in activities that value and understand our diverse heritage and actively encourages participation in that diverse heritage.  

 

§ Promote community cohesion and social harmony. By raising levels of awareness to the history, culture and abilities of all people and highlight the contributions that all races, religions, and cultures have made to modern Britain.  

We do this by:-

 

¨ Running workshops that further education and training in Performing and Diverse Arts and Value and Diversity Training. 

 

¨ Producing events where BME, Disabled and Socially Disadvantaged are the feature and targeted audience. 

 

¨ Provide Volunteers with the opportunity and means to learn Office and workplace skills.
